[ES]Se han preparado briquetas combustibles sin humos para diferentes usos a partir de carbones de bajo rango y biomasa. Estos materiales se pirolizaron con objeto de reducir los volátiles y el contenido de azufre del carbón de partida. Para optimizar la temperatura de desulfuración del carbón se realizaron pirólisis y co-pirólisis del carbón y las biomasas, serrín, paja, huesos de oliva y cáscara de almendra. La pirólisis del carbón se realizó a 500, 550, 600, 650 y 700 ºC de temperatura. Los co-carbonizados seleccionados contenían proporciones del 50, 33 y 25 % de carbón y se prepararon a 600 ºC. Se utilizaron aditivos de calcio, hidróxido de calcio y caliza, para mejorar las propiedades de combustión de las briquetas, y especialmente, la retención de azufre. |

[EN] Smokeless fuel briquettes with low rank coals and biomasses have been prepared for several uses. These materials were pyrolysed with the aim to reduce the volatile matter and the amount of sulphur. The temperature of desulfurisation of the coal has been optimised with the runs carried out at 500, 550, 600, 650 and 700 ºC. The co-carbonised materials were prepared at 600 ºC with the adequate proportion of coal and biomass to get materials with 50, 33 and 25 % of coal. Calcium hydroxide and calcium carbonate were used as calcium additive to improve the combustion properties, specially the sulphur retention. |
