[ES] En este trabajo se detallan las características locales de las unidades litoestratigráficas
del Jurásico Inferior de la Cuenca Ibérica en las proximidades de
Almonacid de la Cuba y de Belchite (Zaragoza), así como, las de la «Unidad de
Almonacid de la Cuba», situada entre las Formaciones Cuevas Labradas y Cerro
del Pez y que sólo está definida en este sector. También, se detallan cuestiones
relativas a la organización secuencial de los materiales que las constituyen. Por
otra parte, se realizan estudios bioestratigráficos con ammonoideos, braquiópodos,
foraminíferos y nannoplancton calcáreo; habiéndose podido caracterizar las
Zonas Jamesoni, Ibex y Davoei del Pliensbachiense inferior (Carixiense), las Zonas
Stokesi, Margaritatus y Spinatum del Pliensbachiense superior (Domeríense)
y las Zonas Tenuicostatum y Serpentinus del Toarciense inferior. |

[EN] The Almonacid de la Cuba-Belchite area (Zaragoza) in the Aragonese
(NE) branch of the Iberian Chain, eastern Spain, is known to include some of
the most outstanding Lower Jurassic outcrops, both by the good exposure
and the completeness of the stratigraphic successions. The particular features
of the lithostratigraphic units formally defined fon te Iberian Basin are analysed
and described, including the informal unit known as «Almonacid de la
Cuba Unit» lower Pliensbachian in age, between the Cuevas Labradas and te
Cerro del Pez Formations), which is only present in te northeastern part of the
Aragonese Branch of the Iberian Chain. The study also involves the sequence
stratigraphy analysis of the units. The biostratigraphic study means of ammonoids,
brachiopods, forams and calcareous nannoplakton has led to the characterisation
of the Jamesoni, Ibex and Davoei Zones of the lower Pliensbachian
(Carixian), the Stokesi, Margaritatus and Spinatum Zones of the upper
Pliensbachian (Domerian) and the Tenuicostatum and Serpentinus Zones of the
lower Toarcian. |
