Surfactants having general formula (II) wherein x = 8-14; n = 2-8. The process for obtaining such surfactants comprises the following steps: a) producing nitroarginin; b) producing N'alpha'-acil-nitroarginin; c) producing N'alpha',N'omega',bis(N'alpha'-acil-arginin-'alpha''omega' diaminoalkylamide dichlorohydrate. Said surfactants are antimicrobial agents which can be applied to cosmetics, pharmacy and food industry.
