This article presents the proces that CSIC had followed to organize a new centralized model to acquire its traditional information resources (print and databases) and how it drove at the same time the migration from the print to digital collections. A portrait of the most important decisions taken about products to be aquired, investments to manage the change and results obtained with the new digital collection based on the analysis of the usage statistics data from 2002-2003. |
