Description: In 1912 and 1913 five railroads ran trains through Fremont, Ohio. Tracks ran both parallel to and perpendicular to the Sandusky River. Tracks in the floodplain - the Front-State Street area - were subjected to both water and ice that damaged roadbeds and tracks.
