dc.descriptionTony Jannus (standing on the left), was one of the Benoist Aeroplane Company's most experienced fliers. Jannus, born in 1889, was the son of a prominent Washington, D. C. patent attorney. Jannus flew Tom Benoist's Flying Boat that featured a Roberts Motor Company engine. G. A. Boeckling contracted Jannus to fly exhibitions and give rides at Cedar Point, Ohio, during the 1913, 1914, and 1915 seasons.-
