Pudimos obtener algunas precisiones muy interesantes acerca de la evolución constructiva de estas estructuras. En el sector urbano adyacente, que quedaría intramuros del perímetro defensivo, se exhumó un tramo de calle que corría en paralelo a la muralla. También se excavaron tres viviendas andalusíes, una de ellas casi completa, que nos aportaron una información valiosa acerca de la evolución de este tipo de edificios. [EN] The archaeological work has documented a part of the medieval defences of Murcia. This is composed of a section of wall reinforced by two towers, the barbican, the second smaller wall, and the ditch later vaulted. We were able to find certain traces of great interest about the development of these structures. In the adjacent urban sector a stretch of street was excavated that ran parallel to the wall. Also three andalusian houses were excavated, one of these almost complete, that have given us valuable information about the evolution of this type of structure. Peer reviewed |
