C., de la Universidad de Madrid y de la Universidad de La laguna, que iniciaron hace varios años el estudio sistemático del Archipiélago. The Symposium of the International Association of Volcanology and Chemistry of the Earth's interior, to be held in the Canary Islands, has stimulated the publication of a series of monographic papers on the geology and volcanology of the islands to be visited during the Symposium. These monographs summarize previous papers and the studies carried out by the Department of Petrology of the C. S. I. C.
