| Description: | Las bibliotecas de investigación en España tienen un papel trascendental en la Sociedad de la Información y en el sistema de I+D español. El artículo considera y aporta datos exclusivamente de las bibliotecas universitarias y de la Red del CSIC. Se aportan algunos datos cuantitativos que permiten dibujar el estado actual de estas bibliotecas y hacer un breve repaso de los acontecimientos que han vivido y que sin duda han tenido un papel definitivo en la conformación de lo que hoy podríamos denominar el subsistema de bibliotecas científicas y de investigación. Finalmente se esbozan algunas reflexiones sobre los grandes retos a los que se enfrentarán estas bibliotecas y los problemas que deberán solucionar en el futuro. Peer reviewed |
