| Description: | This is a relation of the large mammals groups representation in the Chilean fossil collections. We indicate their provenance and stratigraphic placement. Gomphotheriidae and Equidae were specially contrasted. The information from other groups came from the literature. Se relacionan los restos de grandes mamíferos en las colecciones chilenas, haciendo especial hincapié en las localidades de procedencia y en su situación estratigráfica. Los datos sobre restos de Gomphotheriidae y Equidae han sido especialmente contrastados. Otros grupos han sido tratados a partir de los datos bibliográficos.
